Assignment Description of Deliverables: Manage the creation and implementation of a Business Continuity Plan. This plan must address and include at a minimum:

Business Resumption Plan which includes but not limited to: time critical operations, user back-up procedures, create exercise and maintenance plans and meet quality assurance requirements.

Emergency Preparedness Plan which includes but not limited to: Emergency response, life & safety,create exercise and maintenance plans and meet quality assurance requirements.

Crisis Management Plan which includes but not limited to: commend center, disaster call tree, communication, create exercise and maintenance plans and meet quality assurance requirements.

Technology Recover Plan which includes but not limited to: technical recovery strategy, create exercise and maintenance plans and meet quality assurance requirements.

The completed Business Continuity Plan documentation needs to be professionally written and will be shared with customers and executive leadership

Description of Services

The candidate will work as a member of the ED Team within the Hospital Systems Unit to develop, maintain, and support emergency department systems with a primary focus on building patient tracking boards for multiple nursing units throughout the hospital

The candidate will help with all phases of the software development life cycle with a primary emphasis on rapid software development and implementation. It may also include some requirements gathering and project management duties. The candidate should have significant experience and comprehension in web programming and MS SQL database programming. Tasks will include working in MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, C#, CSS, Javascript, Object Oriented Design, and writing and maintaining interfaces in BizTalk or .NET. The candidate must have experience with design of stored procedures, triggers, IIS, Visual Studio 2005/2008, Visual Source Safe, master pages, and AJAX.

Examples of potential tasks include: 1) Rapidly design and implement code in an iterative fashion. 2) Test code. 3) Enhance existing code based on limited specifications. 4) Participate in the support on-call rotation. 5) Investigate and resolve application issues and problems.

Complete Description

Ability to customize the Mac or Wintel operating system (wallpaper, shortcuts/aliases, screen colors, sounds pointers, screen-saver, etc.) Ability to install/configure a shrink-wrap application on a Mac or PC. Ability to install/configure internally developed applications.
Demonstrated ability to configure a Mac or PC and it's peripherals for connection to a large network using TCP/IP. Understanding of computer related terminology (CPU, Internet, Networking, Client/Server, LAN/WAN, etc.) Understand preparation and steps necessary to prepare and rebuild a PC or Mac operating system from scratch and from an image. Demonstratable experience trouble-shooting an operating system and shrink-wrapped application problems. Experience teaching people basic networking, Windows, and Mac operating system basics.
Understanding of, and ability to use “Help Desk” and other documentation tools designed for help desks. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision at times.
Normal working hours are 8 am to 5 pm Central Time Zone, Monday through Friday. May require shifting work hours to accomodate work request requirements.
